 Wolff
Cellulosics is a division of Bayer with specialised expertise
in cellulose derivatives, especially in Sodium Carboxy Methyl
Cellulose (CMC) and Hydroxyl Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC).
Walocel® CRT (CMC) is available
in different viscosities and various degrees of substitution,
and is an excellent viscosifier with some other special properties.
 Products
such as CMC and HPMC have generally been treated by manufacturers
as commodities, without any real understanding of their capabilities.
Wollf Cellulosics invests heavily in R&D to stay ahead of its
competitors. An innovative acid-stable CMC product range was
launched in 2006.
